Unsere Kundin Lesley absolviert ein Praktikum (Work Experience) an der Schule EC in London, wo sie berufliche Erfahrungen sammeln und ihre Englischkenntnisse verbessern kann. Vermittelt wurde sie durch die Schule LAL in London Twickenham. In folgendem Blog-Beitrag erfährt ihr mehr über ihren Tätigkeitsbereich.
The intern ship at EC is really good. The colleagues are very friendly, it's a great team, there is a nice atmosphere! Furthermore they give me possibilities to improve my English as well as my teacher skills. I can join the breakfast club (conversation class) in the morning and I lead it already once. They also proposed me to give a lecture next week about a topic that I prefer. In addition they promised me to observe some classes in the following weeks when it will be less busy.
The last two weeks I was introduced to the tasks by the actual intern that will leave tomorrow. So I will take her tasks. The most of the time I am at the reception, answering the questions of the students, booking trips, entering the student's information in a program, preparing documents (certificates, ID cards, timetables), checking the student's Visas, etc. They are quite easy task to do.
I met nice people during the week of English course in Twickenham and had a great time. But I am happy to not live directly in the centre of London and be able to escape the busy and crowded Londoner life :).
